Adding a Google Plus button on your WordPress blog is a great way to get traffic when your blog visitors like your article and click on the button to share with his Google + circle (e.g. friends, contacts etc).
Google + has just been launched recently is expected to be one of the fastest growing social network in history and you should put a Google Plus button on your blog.
The easiest way to do this is to use the Google+ (Plus one) Social Share Button plugin (by Rohan Pawale). This plugin allows you to choose the size of the +1 button, the location to be displayed e.g. at the top or bottom of the post (or both), button on the left side of the post (fixed or floating by following the scrolling of the page) or any place of your choice (paste the short code manually).
If you wish, you can choose to include the vote count (number of votes received) to be displayed on top of the button.
For those who are comfortable with coding, you can go Google’s Webmasters site to get the Google Plus 1 button codes and insert them manually into your blog.
